Spectrometry
Spectrometry is an analysis technique that helps scientists measure the presence and potency of certain chemicals in a substance.
There are various different types of spectrometry including Mass Spectrometry (MS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) which are both commonly used in cannabis analysis. Acting as a security check, spectrometry reveals any contaminants and helps scientists to calculate its effects on the body.
